Baby Kroll

Hey everyone! As you probably all know, we are EXPECTING!!!! Our baby is due on July 5th! We are so incredibly excited, and loving the experience of being pregnant! I have been horrible at documenting things, so I am turning over a new leaf!!!

We found out that we were pregnant in October, but kept it a secret from our families until Thanksgiving! We had taken a picture of Daniel and I holding a sign that said +1. We wrapped it up and gave it to our families! My Mom, and Mother-in-law, already knew that I was pregnant (motherly intuition) but it was an awesome surprise for everyone! The funniest thing that happened was, we showed it to my grandparents, and they looked at it, and looked at it, and said "oh that's nice" then finally it clicked for my Grandma, and she jumped and was so excited, her and my grandpa were crying! It was so cute!

I have had an amazingly easy pregnancy so far, I haven't had any morning sickness, heartburn, or anything to make me nauseous! I have just had food aversions, which are sometimes crappy! I haven't had any real cravings yet, but certain things taste better than usual, such as pickles, and mustard! My brother in law is so cute, for Christmas he got me a huge jar of dill pickles! Best present!

We had our first appointment with the Dr on December 2nd. Hearing the heartbeat and seeing our little peanut for the first time, was an amazing experience! I can't wait to meet this little person!

How far along: 12 weeks pregnant and it's still going great!
Total weight gain: None so far
Maternity clothes: Not yet, but my pants are feeling tight
Stretch marks: no
Sleep: sleeping is great, except for getting up three times to go to the bathroom
Best moment of this week: Christmas with my families
Miss anything: not yet, I can still do everything
Movement: not yet, but cannot wait for it
Food Cravings: mustard and pickles
Anything make you queasy or sick: Daniels hair gel
Gender: don't know yet
Labor signs: no
Symptoms: none other than food aversions
Belly button, in or out: way in
Wedding rings, on or off: on
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward too: our next appointment on Friday, to hear the heartbeat again!

I will post pictures soon!

Around the World and back, Pt 1

Hey everyone! Now that I know I am for sure horrible not so bad blogger. No I am just kidding, I am a horrible blogger! We just thought we would catch everyone up on our world travels! We've been back for a month now, wow how time flies! I miss traveling with Daniel, spending time in the airport, riding scooters, and various other things! There's nothing like traveling with your best friend!

Fiji

Feejee is just as beautiful and tropical as you think about, or that you see in the pictures! Oh, and I have fallen in love with the fijian people. They are THE nicest, most caring, non judging people on this whole world! Everyone wants to be your friend, and takes the time to get to know your name and things about you!

Every resort we stayed at we were right on the beach and it was {perfect} weather the whole time we were there! Ahhh I miss this place

Australia

Our first stop in Australia was Sydney

We had to get a picture in front of the Sydney Opera house! The Sydney harbor is just beautiful. You've got the Opera house on the right, and the Harbor bridge on the left, surrounded by the ocean, and big business buildings.

This was something that Daniel introduced me too. It's called Bubble Tea. What it is, is basically a smoothie, with giant tapioca pearls at the bottom, and you sip it through this humongous straw, so that you can suck up the tapioca pearls. It's interesting, but really good!

train details

So Daniel and I have been moving between St. Joseph and Osceola, IA for work! On our way out to Iowa I went selling with Daniel. The town we went to had this really cool old Train Station that was pretty torn down but it had some really awesome details, and the sunset, oh the sunset was gorgeous! Enjoy!

Update!

Hey everyone! Sorry it has taken us sooo long to get back to blogging! We have been super busy! Well, for all of you who don't know we are living in St. Joseph, Missouri! We moved out here the very end of April. We have been loving it here! We love all the people we work with! We are all one giant family! We are still getting used to the humidity, the super hot weather, and the crazy crazy storms that we get here, and let me tell you - we get tons of them!

We have done some pretty cool things since we have moved moved out here! St. Joseph is about an hour away from all the church history sites such as: Adam-ondi-ohmen, liberty jail, far west, and many others! One Sunday afternoon we took a drive out to Adam-ondi-ohmen (hopefully that is how you spell it!) It was really such a special place! We loved it! It's so cool to be living so close to all the church history sites!

We also took a trip down to Kansas City and we got to see the new Kansas City Temple in it's construction phases! It looks a lot like the Oquirrh Mountain Temple!

While we were in Kansas City - We had to drop down to Liberty where the Church of Christ is located. We went and took a guided tour of their temple and it was so crazy! They let us walk through every part of it! They also had some pretty cool artifacts from the Joseph Smith Family!
The funniest thing about that trip was when we realized that the Church of Christ Temple had DISH NETWORK!! We all had a pretty good laugh at that!

I think our conversation went something like this... (Walking out of the Visitors Center) OH MY GOSH!!!!! - Everyone what!!!! THEY DISH NETWORK! It was probably one of those situations where you would have to have been there to grasp the full hilariousness of it - but trust me! It was funny!

We went and saw this:

in Omaha! Oh my goodness! It was amazing! We went with two of our friends Jake and Phil! We ALL went and sold (emphasis on the all...YES I went and knocked doors!) and then drove down to Omaha Nebraska! We got there right before the show started, and we had to run a mile, I was in flip flops- uphill to make it on time! They almost shut the doors on us - but we hustled there! It was defidently a cool experience! After Wicked we ate some really awesome burritos at a stand that was outside the theatre! Yummy!!!

One of my favorite things about Missouri is their sunsets! We have the most beautiful sunsets here! There are no mountains... Just hills so it makes for an incredible sight! You can watch the sun set all the way down! Ahh... I love it!

We are loving it here! We miss our families and friends but we are having the time of our lives!

The EAGLE has landed!

Daniel has been so funny! He got an Ipad2 from his work and he has been so giddy about it! The first day that we could order it, we did! It finally came in the mail today, and he called me and said "THE EAGLE HAS LANDED!!!" (hence the name of this post!) He wanted to drive up to South Jordan and pick up as soon as possible! He cracks me up!

He told me that I can pick out a case for him for his new toy! I just can't decide what color to get him!

I will post more pictures when we finally get his ipad 2 so you can all see how excited he is!

Must See!

So, one of the young women in my laurels class is part of a play called Titanic the musical! The musical on Broadway has won numerous awards such as the Tony award. Her mom is the YW president and bought us all tickets for our ym activity yesterday. I was literally blown away at the talent that these kids have. They are part of a program that is called Acting Up! It is part of a youth program that Orem city has for the kids. They have to try out for the plays, so they have the best of the best!

The talent that these kids have as far as acting, and singing goes is top of the line. It almost brought me to tears to hear them sing all together! It was really amazing! This is a must see and it isn't that expensive to go see! The tickets are $8 per adult and $6 per child! There are only two more days to go see this play, it ends on April 9th! So hurry and buy your tickets while they are available! The play is at the Scera Theatre that is on State Street in Orem!

I told Daniel that I wanted to go see it again because it was so incredible! While it was a depressing story, everyone knows that, I did find out some interesting facts about the Titanic. There were many warnings about the ice berg that the Titanic hit, before they hit it. It's sad that the people in charge weren't paying attention to the warnings of the ice berg. If they did, hitting the ice berg could have been avoided. Back in that day all the people were seperated into "classes" first class, middle class, and third class. You could really tell in the play about how they treated the different classes. The first class got everything, the 5 star treatment. The middle class got not so good treatment, but it was still fair. The third class got what their class was - third class.

When the Titanic was sinking, they gave life jackets to the First class passengers, but not to the second, or third. That was so sad to me. I am glad things have changed, and we do not have classes like that anymore. Anyways, I learned that there were 20 life boats on the Titanic, which was not even close enough to save every person on the ship. There would have to have been 54 life boats on board to save every man, woman, and child that was on the Titanic. There were 713 people who survived the sinking ship, while 1522 of them being the crew, most of the men, and the band had lost their lives. It was heart wrenching to see the wives be pulled away from their husbands knowing that they would probably never see them again.

While there were only 20 life boats on deck, there were 431 available seats left on the lifeboats. That is 431 more people who couldof survived while the ship was sinking. Most of the third class passengers never even made it to the top of the boat to see if they could get a spot on the life boats.

Amist, that this is a sad sad story, the play is totally worth watching! Please go see it!
